I am excited to announce that I have begun work on the sixth installment in the Joseph Michael Barber thriller series with the completion of the prologue and six chapters as of today (Labor Day, 2023). We will reach back to D-Day and the weeks following to define two of the main characters, the grandson’s of a Wehrmacht and a Waffen SS officer, in the prologue and two chapters titled “A Tale of Two Nazis, Parts 1 and 2.” The idea came to me during a moving one-week private tour of the Normandy beaches in June.
